CrushPak Manufacturing is Simple and Economical
Manufacture With Ease
CrushPak is being manufactured right now on existing lines – to date over 150 MILLION CrushPak packs have been manufactured and shipped.
CrushPak Fits Existing Lines
CrushPak requires no special equipment. It can be manufactured on existing form-fill-seal or pre-form thermoforming lines, with minimal tool changes, at equivalent or faster cycle times. CrushPak has already been successfully manufactured on Erca, Arcil and Hassia lines.
Switching to CrushPak is just a simple mould change - just like any other pack change – no other changes are required.
Manufacturing Options
CrushPak is suitable for both hot and cold fill applications. It can be top, side, body, sleeve or in mould labeled. It can also be manufactured on injection molding lines.
CrushPak Uses Standard Materials
CrushPak requires no special materials – it uses industry standard sheet and can formed in HIPS, PS, PP EVOH and barrier materials, PLA and other standard materials.
The CrushPak "Rule of Thumb": if you can make a conventional cup from a material you can make CrushPak from the same material.
Small to Large
CrushPak can be manufactured in a wide variety of sizes from 20 gram tubs for dispensing or Portion Control Unit applications to 500 gram + tubs. It can also be designed in a wide variety of shapes to suit particular applications and consumer preferences.
More storage and shipping options
CrushPak’s accordion folds naturally flex if the contents expand or contract. This means CrushPak is suitable for frozen products and added transport and storage options are available.
In addition CrushPak can be manufactured and shipped to pressure differential locations (for example from high altitude to sea level) without the pack or seal rupturing.
Strategic Relationship with Erca
CrushPak has formed a strategic relationship with Erca Oystar, the world’s largest manufacturer of Form Fill Seal processing lines to promote the adoption of CrushPak.
Erca’s long history of leadership in Form Fill Seal technology and its support for CrushPak means manufacturers can be confident that CrushPak can be easily implemented into their current manufacturing environment.
